How it works
The resin swaps the calcium and magnesium that cause hard water for a trace of sodium, then the valve rinses it clean with brine.
Media benefits
High-capacity softening resin
- Removes the calcium and magnesium that cause hard water
- Ends scale on fixtures, tile, water heaters and pipes
- Softer skin and hair, brighter laundry, spot-free dishes
- Uses far less soap and detergent
- Regenerates itself automatically; the resin lasts for years

Fleck Hard Water System
A complete Fleck system — control head valve, tank and the right media — engineered to solve hard water for good.
The Fleck system that solves it
This is a full Fleck system built on three parts that work together: a genuine Fleck 5600 SXT metered control valve on top of a high-capacity resin tank, filled with the media matched to your water. The valve meters your actual water use and regenerates only when needed, so it never wastes salt or water. One consistent Fleck platform means parts and service stay simple for the life of the system — fully serviceable, never a sealed throwaway unit.
