The Auto Iron Filter 10x44 (also part CAIF-10-MG) tackles the problem head-on, arriving pre-loaded with Greensand Plus media in a complete, ready-to-install package for residential homes. It is a compact, fully automated solution for households battling iron-laden supplies.

How It Removes Iron

Greensand Plus media oxidizes dissolved iron and manganese so the particles can be filtered out of the water rather than passing through to your taps. The C-Series EE electronic time clock valve automatically initiates a backwash on a set schedule, flushing the captured iron from the media bed and regenerating the filter for continued performance. The result is clearer water with far less staining and metallic flavor, achieved with almost no hands-on effort from the homeowner.

10" x 44" black polyglass mineral tank, well suited to smaller homes

Pre-loaded with Greensand Plus iron and manganese reduction media

C-Series EE 1" electronic time clock filter valve

Bypass valve included for easy maintenance

Basket distributor and gravel support bed for even flow

Complete unit weighing approximately 140 lbs; plumbing connections sold separately

Because this iron filter ships with media already installed, setup is streamlined: simply add the plumbing connections that match your installation and program the time-clock control. The compact 10x44 footprint fits comfortably in utility rooms and basements, making it a great fit for smaller homes or those with moderate iron levels. The time-clock control regenerates automatically, so ongoing maintenance is minimal. For homeowners battling iron-laden well water, this 10x44 unit offers a proven, hands-off approach to cleaner, better-tasting water throughout the house from a trusted water treatment name.

Because iron levels and water chemistry vary from well to well, testing your supply helps confirm the system is correctly configured for lasting results. With the right setup, owners enjoy clearer water and freedom from the rust stains, clogged aerators, and odor that untreated iron typically brings. With its self-regenerating design and quality construction, it delivers dependable iron removal that protects your home and improves daily water quality for years.

Related Systems & Configurations

Comparing options?
