Pentek Chlorine Taste & Smell System

A complete Pentek system — control head valve, tank and the right media — engineered to solve chlorine taste & smell for good.

✓ Complete System — one price includes everything below
You're buying the entire working system — not a single component. This one price covers all of it, shipped free:
  • Control valve head — Pentair Autotrol Logix backwashing control valve
  • Tank — a backwashing carbon tank
  • Media — high-grade catalytic activated carbon

The Pentek system that solves it

This is a full Pentek system built on three parts that work together: a Pentair Autotrol Logix backwashing control valve on top of a backwashing carbon tank, filled with the media matched to your water. The valve backwashes the bed on schedule to keep flow strong and the media working — no cartridges to change. One consistent Pentek platform means parts and service stay simple for the life of the system — fully serviceable, never a sealed throwaway unit.

Head valve: Pentair Autotrol Logix backwashing control valve
Tank: a backwashing carbon tank
Media: high-grade catalytic activated carbon

What it does for your home

  • Removes chlorine taste & smell from your water
  • Clean, chlorine-free taste and smell at every tap
  • Gentler water for skin, hair and laundry
  • Protects downstream softener resin and appliances
  • Whole-house coverage, no cartridges to swap
Why it works — the media does the job. Inside the tank is high-grade catalytic activated carbon. In plain terms, it adsorbs chlorine and the compounds that carry its taste and odor. The Pentek head valve runs it; the media is what actually removes chlorine taste & smell — that pairing is the real difference between systems.

Sized and matched to your water

Pick your home size above (1–3, 3–4 or 5–6 bathrooms) and we build it to your flow. Send a water test or your symptoms and we size it free. Ships free in the US with full install and service manuals. Need a matched multi-stage well package? See our same-brand Pentek well bundle.

Prefer a different valve brand? The same chlorine taste & smell solution is available in Fleck, Autotrol, C-Series, Pentek and Pentair — the media doing the work is the same.

The media inside — what actually cleans your water
