How it works

Uranium in well water is dissolved as a negatively charged ion. The anion resin in the tank trades it for chloride as water passes through, so uranium stays in the resin and clean water goes to your taps. When the resin is loaded, the Autotrol 268 valve with Logix metered control rinses it with salt brine from the brine tank and puts it back in service. The valve meters your water use and regenerates only when needed, and at least once a month as uranium resin guidance recommends.

This system removes uranium. It does not soften water or remove radium. If your water test also shows radium or hard water, choose our Autotrol Uranium & Radium System, which adds a softening stage. It works best when your water's pH is 6 or higher.
