How it works
The valve draws a pocket of air into the top of the tank. Water passes through the air, which oxidizes iron, manganese and hydrogen sulfide into particles, and the media bed filters them out. Every day the valve backwashes the bed, sends the trapped particles to drain and refreshes the air pocket.

The AIO 10"x44" System is a compact air injection oxidation filter built to tackle hydrogen sulfide and the rotten-egg odor that plagues so many well-water homes. Air injection works by drawing a pocket of air into the top of the mineral tank, oxidizing dissolved contaminants so they cling to the media bed and then rinse away during the automatic backwash cycle.
